This week in phonics the children have been learning all about the ‘qu’ sound. The children have also completed phase 2 consolidation tasks. In maths the children practiced identifying the pattern of a dice and the numerical meaning, counting on from a number and took turns during a variety of dice games. In geography and science the children explored learnt about the different habitats and climates animals live in. They particularly enjoyed learning about the cold climate of the Artic.
