Welcome to Pines

We are a class of years 4, 5 and 6 in the Base with 1 teacher, Lauren and 1 teaching assistant, Janette. We have class fish that we take care of and class jobs that we are responsible for each day like completing our calendar and taking a register of how many children are in.

We are a communication class and have a total communication approach using PECS and Makaton.

Our topics this year are Childhood, Bright Lights, Big City and School Days. We have exciting stations around our classroom like an investigation station and a creative station to help with our learning.

We will update this page each half term with our class news, examples of our fantastic work, our achievements and anything exciting we have been up to.
