Apples class had a busy half term! When you come into our classroom, you see children hard at work and hard at play! Everyone has settled into a good routine, and the children are becoming ever more independent in their school work and their life skills, such as washing dishes, cooking and baking, and cleaning and tidying. We especially like messy play in Apples class and this term the children have made slime, finger painted, formed cake pops by hand, made colourful gloop and so much more. Best of all, the children continue to build relationships with their peers and we are starting to see some lovely friendship develop. We know that it isn’t always easy to be around other people, especially when they can be noisy or unpredictable at times. But our children are building resilience and tolerance towards others, and that is bearing fruit in how well they are taking turns, sharing resources and even getting help for each other when needed. What a gorgeous bunch they are!
