Superhero Multi-skills

Some of our EYFS children took part in a Superhero themed multi-skills festival at Temple Park Centre. Many schools were involved, supported by our School Sports Leaders. It was lots of fun and the children all displayed fantastic attitudes, setting a super example of the brilliant behaviour we have at Fellgate.

 

School Sports Swimming Gala

Pupils from Sycamores, Oaks and Birches class attended the year 5 and 6 School Sports Swimming Gala at Haven Point. They all had a fantastic time and won a medals each too! A huge well done to everyone who took part and a big thank you to parents for your support too!

School Games Multi Skills Festival

Willows Class visited Temple Park and took part in the School Games Multi Skills Festival.
They all had loads of fun participating in the different events! In each activity they were awarded points and at the end the teams’ final scores were announced. Willows Class finished in joint 2nd place! What a fantastic achievement!
Panathlon Event
Some pupils from Sycamores, Chestnuts and Birches attended the Panathlon event at Temple Park. They all had an amazing time participating in the different events! We competed against several other schools and our team finished in 3rd place! The children were presented with medals and certificates and were thrilled with the result!

Multi-skills Festival

Acorns and Hawthorns had a fantastic time at the multi-skills festival on Thursday, at Temple park. They played lots of games which involved using skills such as throwing, jumping and moving in lots of different ways. They were amazing and all of the children commented on how much fun they had.

School Sports Organising Crew (SSOC)
Today our new Sports Leaders attended the SSOC Launch Day Event at Temple Park along with 20 other Primary Schools.
The children took part in a variety of activities; from dodgeball, tower building, poster design and problem solving! All these activities linked to Team work, Leadership, Communication and resilience.
They also had an opportunity to work alongside other sports leaders from different schools.
